My OperaOhhhhh Yarn

Because of my charming friend Karen encouraging me in blogging my life, I took pictures of our trip to the store today. I was hoping and praying that a certain yarn shop was open…but no, I couldn’t be so lucky, they are only open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

No fortune with that, so we headed towards Wal-Mart, a store that I am sure most have heard of.
. The only part I was interested in was the arts and crafts, mainly yarn, section! I was feigning for some yarn but the only thing that distracted me were the candles! Give me candles, give me candles; lovely, gorgeous scented candles…cherry, pumpkin pie, vanilla, pear, Exquisite,divine smells were tickling my nose and opening my wallet with ease. I almost couldn’t decide on what I wanted and settled for a new style that I haven’t seen before and the aroma that I smell now is ‘wild berry preserves’. Gosh darn it smells marvelous.

After picking up a candle we moved on to the yarn. Isn’t it dazzling? I thought so! By the way, it is the style that is in the white containers with the lids.

Hubby was determined to have the Transformers 2 pack DVD set. I don’t even know what the second DVD was or what is so extraordinary about it, but I am sure he feels the same way about my fixation with arts and crafts.

When we got home, I made cookies. It was the perfect day....cold and cloudy and rainy. Love it. Chocolate chip pecan and Choco-Oatmeal with pecans. The trees are loaded this year, so there are plenty everywhere you go...pecans pecans pecans.

I'm sorry I'm kinda listless right now...I just called it quits after a long day of cleaning, picking my Dad up from the airport, and sitting around talking. I AM POOPED!

Hi Aida! Thanks and yes...we can take pictures in the store...why not? Maybe by you that is not allowed? I carried it in my hand the entire time! I think some of the employees thought I was a 'secret shopper' or something...(someone who shops and then gives the store a rating)

I guess it is legal...maybe not, but I did it anyway. The most they can do is just stop you and warn you. I think half the employees don't know the real laws; if in fact it is legal or not.
Is it posted on a sign or something that pictures are not allowed in your stores? Weird!

well the important thing is, you can!
here at certain places they do put up signs with no cameras allowed and such. other places, got no signs but they do have all serious looking security men that will make you believe you have killed somebody just by taking a picture of canned tuna.
8/10? thats considered high even with the unpacked boxes.
