question about saving edited photos...

, ,

Ok, if anyone knows I would appreciate the answer. When I edit my photos on my computer, I chose the option 'save as' and I either write a new file name, or overwrite the original. But when I open the folder to view the file, I see the original, unedited picture. This is confusing because I don't know if I have edited it or not, unless I open it. Does anyone know how to save it, so that it shows as the new edited photo?

Thanks anyone in advance.heart
Sarah

I use Windows XP and Paint.net for editing

Some interesting facts¡nos vemos!

when you "save as" it creates another file, but leaves the old file in the condition it was in when previously saved (or created).

so what you have are two files: the original (unedited) and the new file (edited) with the new filename

Oh beautiful...

I noticed, I have to rename the file to see the edited image.

thanks
