free, letting go, over it!, breaking free, poem

I was inspired by Skullshots to post a poem that has been hanging around on my laptop for a while.

Confusing lies
flattering words
held in heart
things unheard.

Slivers of truth
that she wanted to feel
manners, she thought
must be real.

Please go, depart
me so that I will be free
So I can love...
love only me.

Pretty young girl in
the book store she
greets you with a smile.
She climbs the tiny
stairs, it seemed to
go for miles.

To find the book
she searched for,
“Living a Happy Life”
A life that is so
perfect and absent
of any strife.

Support me and
I’ll support you.
But this is something
I see you could never do.

Fresh flowers in a
simple vase.
Tons of kisses
planted on the face.

He wanted all
of her, enough
was not enough to
him...

She felt as if he had drained
her of life and then…
leaving
her to hang on
by a thread,
not be satisfied
and feeling quite dead.

But guess..I read the book
and got the flowers..look!
Now happiness is...
Me without you...
Goodbye babe, I’m totally through!

question about saving edited photos...Snake Charmer gone horribly wrong...but that's not all!

Thanks..I have been writing poems since I was a child. I felt a little disconnected on this one, because..of course..I can't relate well to the feelings behind it. I am usually inspired by other's stories.

If they are like other cats...they won't listen. Oh speaking of, it was so sad. Yesterday a dog in the neighborhood killed a beatiful black stray kitten RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD KIDS. The dog, who had wandered into the neighborhood, was taken over by a family down the street. Well..they would let it out to roam and play with the kids. I was so upset about the kitten being killed (that we have been trying to catch and take in, by the way) that I called and made a complaint to Animal Control.
He went by and talked to the family...and didn't leave with the dog, because the dog is not 'vicious'. I understand that, but if I catch that dog out again I am going to put him in my backyard and have him taken away.

Poor dumb dog.

I feel sorry for him too.
