The Party

Oh gosh....We had such a great time getting ready for and going to Grandma's Birthday party. My sister Meghan took me to the mall to pick out a new outfit and shoes. (We'll talk about the shoes later, girls because I only paid $1.50 for a pair and I was like
this is awesome!) ANYWAY....once I got my usual all black outfit we stopped by a couple of other stores for shoes and jewelry. OH OH there were some AWESOME sales going on. I am going back soon to just browse around for sales. In one of the fancy smanchy stores they had some cute flip flops on sale, 2 for $5.00 for kids. I grabbed a couple and felt so happy lugging bags around the mall.
Oh wait...the party!

So we all met up at the restaurant at about 7....7:30. We ordered margaritas, our food and took pics like it was a family reunion or something. In a way it was...our family doesn't get together too often. There was a real buzz in the restaurant...loud music, loud people, loud waiters, children crying. I couldn't figure out how this was grammy's favorite restaurant! It was like a club............but it was a place to eat.
Go figure. Even when we were leaving the police were standing outside talking to someone about something...who knows. Anyway it was a great place!
(I don't get out often enough)
I ordered oriental salad.

I gave the camera to my brother and asked him to take a pic of the birthday 'party', well he got my hand holding the straw to my........margarita!

Yummy!

Our awesome waiter! He totally deserved a big tip....I mean, he hooked Meghan up with a croissant after all.

Grammy with her huge fudgy cake thing not knowing what to do with it. She made me take 2 bites of it, spoon fed it to me herself DESPITE me being on a sugar free diet.
How can you say no to grammy?

I will write about those shoes tomorrow...
