He assumed it would be lovely
to take her too, along with a
few others.....

She fought for his love; demanded it lightly afraid of being set free. She held on gently.

Thoughts would repeat in her mind consisting of the bad, worse and the dirty. Holding on by a thread and suffering from the pain of an affection not gained.

For the time draw near and down he walked looking back and forth, comparing breeds of women. Take me! Take me!

But in her thoughts they talk to her, the little marching thoughts, straight and strict soldiers demanding presents in her psyche. The soldiers yelling in a deafening cadence that she would lose this battle. He would not look her way. Loosing control....the army slowly dropped off one by one.

The infatuation began to die when he turned his head to the other flower. He bent over slowly and inhaled her sweet fragrance. Feeling faint she slowly wilted, drooping under the heat and strain of his light. She could almost see the soul being sucked in by him and she knew it was over.
