Karen, Casey and I were discussing our pink coffee cups and agreed on Twitter to post pictures of our cups.

our coffee. I got my cup from the "Dollar Tree" because I am cheap like that!

OMG I just realized the clutter on my desk. *embarrassed* Well...it's all concentrated in that one spot. Yeah that's it. And that lotion is Breck for baby, Lavender Bedtime.

I need the TLC.

Also there, my satellite remote, a couple of knitting projects, the polka dots is my make up case.

My fiancé, Lonnie, has a green one, too! He's 100% Irish, so he thinks everything he owns should be green.

That's how I was with purple when I was MUCH younger.

Then I became a teenager and everything was black.

Now that I'm old, I use all colors equally...although I tend to go for pink more than any other color.

In a "round-about" way.

Green seems to have been always associated with Ireland. I guess mainly because it's a very green country. The mild climate and abundant rain means that "The Emerald Isle" is well named. Then you have Forty Shades of Green, The Wearing of the Green, etc.

So green = Irish.

Now, I've always understood "the luck of the Irish" to mean good luck. But opinions differ.

So, dredging up some high school math,

if green = Irish
and Irish = lucky
then green = lucky.
