Thoughts of a 30ish

...is back...

Dear Kid Saturday (on a Sunday) ;)

, , , , ,

The great thing about being on Twitter Moms is that I can find young(ish) moms who are doing hip and cool things with their life that I can relate too. If you are a fan of jumping on the net and looking for a creative outlet or inspiration from others, Twitter Moms is the site you need to visit.

I have found a great post on one of the blogs called "Macaroni and Glue Handmade" and the name of the post is "Dear Kid Saturday" I have decided to take up this project of writing an open letter to my girls every Saturday. (If I am not too busy) I may write to all of them or just one, depending on my mood. p:

Ok here it is!

Dear Twiny Twin Twins,
This is my first letter to you so I hope it good! :worried: Anyway, thanks for being such big helpers yesterday while making the cookies. I enjoyed the time with you and I think you two were the best behaved out of the 4 of you.

angel b, I thought it was hilarious when you dove into the bowl of chocolate icing. I thought it was a little weird at first how you were so giggly and excited about it, ONLY because I always let you lick the bowl! You acted like you hadn't ever licked a bowl in your life, girl! Then you got angry when M tried to take it from you. I don't know why you two go at it so much!

angel a,
Thanks for helping cut the cookies out. I really enjoy your help because you are so calm and sweet about everything. I think you have wonderful balance of wanting to help, and not helping too much. Where did you learn that from? It is a God given talent, I think. Thanks for not telling the girls that I gave you more dough than them! They didn't notice and you deserve little extras.

Love,
Mom
