High-Five Fridays!
Friday, 16. January 2009, 16:01:20
Every friday I will post 5 links to things I found interesting on the web throughout the week. If you are online most of the week, get igoogle. It is becoming a necessity for me and I am seriously addicted to all the cool little features that help me stay organized as a mother...(online at least) I use the calender, todo list, sticky note, dallasnews.com, go comics and a ton of other things. It is so convenient all on one page. Also, I forgot to mention that I can quickly and easily check my gmail, read and respond quickly to all incoming.
Check out the Cupcake Bag over at Karen's Chronicles! She isn't too crazy about it, but I loooooove it. I would love have that thing on my shoulder while going out, it would bring so much attention.
Learn how to make Fettuccine Bolognese over at The Chic Life. I love this blog because she post almost daily, giving you a ton of options on reading and ideas.
I know almost everyone has heard of Flight 1549 landing in the Hudson River by now.... I just want to take a moment to thank God for saving that plane and all the people on it. When both engines failed, it could have been a terrible outcome for all those inside. This is a great start to a new year with a new president! I am excited that this wonderful news is out and spreading....honestly...we need it.
FINALLY something that I found that I really just want....Lantern Moon Ebony Wood Needles.
Made from four lovely hardwoods, these needles are sanded and waxed by hand. Beautiful to look at and even better to hold! These make great gifts for everyone!!
Someone worked really hard on these..and I would love to help out in getting the money, so deserved.
Ugh! I wanna go shopping now! Michael's is having a sale...and since I signed up for the online newsletter I will use the 20% off total purchase.
Bye ya'll have a great weekend and I will see you around the MyOpera Community.
