Tye Dye Cupcakes...or Rainbow Cupcakes

I fell in love with this recipe and thought I would have a go at it on Monday! They turned out exactly like I thought...but make sure you use WHITE cake to insure the colors pop!

My lovely (sugar loving) nieces helping me! You should have seen the amount of candy topping that ended up on the floor...they played doggy and lapped them up later. No wasting girls!

All of the cupcakes lined up on cooling rack. I was guarding them with a gun from kids.

I picked up these cute cupcake papers at Michael's with my sister. (didn't realize that Michael's had such a great selection of baking things.

The inside...turned out so cute. I told my daughter to bite it 'pretty' for the picture. Does a mother ask for too much? Gah.

Alicia's headband falling off her head...she was squealing with a major sugar rush when Meg picked her up. Oopsie me.

@ the cupcake papers!!!!!!!!!!! Those are the EXACT ones I bought here!! (I love Michael's too--but I got mine at Bulk Barn--awesome store here)
I got them for my Mom's b-day & Mother's Day cupcakes.

I'll need to try that tye dye some time! The kids would love that.

Hey Cheryl! Oh so pretty! Look at the gorgeous icing job.

I just loved the little flowers on the papers. I knew we had alike taste.

I want one of those icing kits...or well I am not sure what they are called, but you are able to pipe out the icing with different tips, etc. I think they also make interesting cookie shapes.
