Before we moved into our home 6 years ago, we lived in a small 2 bedroom house. It had just the basics; a living room, small bathroom with shower and a tiny kitchen with room for nothing. We made the best of it. We watered the yard and planted flowers and shrubs. Quickly outgrowing the bungalow with our children pushed us to search for new. We found a 3 bedroom ranch style home with a peaceful backyard and wonderful neighborhood. But now...after living here for almost 7 years we are moving again. We have looked at homes in our price range here and none are up to living standards. Prices have gone up, so we have decided to move into an apartment flat! We have looked at it already and filled out the 15 page application. They want to know everything about you before you are approved. I really had to convince myself that apartment living would be as good or better than home living. Here is the list I have compiled below.

Pro- No yard work!

Con- No yard.

Pro- Finally my own bathroom.

Con- none.

Pro- swimming pool, workout room, beach volleyball, nice playground.

Con- also, there is no con to being physically active.

Pro- No waiting for hubby to do maintenance

Con- No painting the walls.

Pro- You are exposed to new music (from neighbors)

Con- The music may not be in your taste.

Pro- You know where EVERYTHING is!

Con- You MUST stay organized in a smaller space.

Pro- More affordable living

Con- again, no con...I wanna go shopping!

Well, if anyone wants to add their thoughts below on the pros and cons of apartment living vs home living, then please do so. It won't change the fact that we are moving though. New adventure!
