My Opera is closing 3rd of March

everyday life of a stay at home mom/artist

Busy Busy Busy

We are fully moved into the apartment and sitting cozy-ish. I am just happy that everything worked out and is coming along smoothly for the most part. I think that losing the dog affected my youngest more than anyone and that makes me feel horrible and sad... I really wish that we could have taken Cinnamon with us, but they don't allow pits in any apartment complex here. Not sure why they chose that breed. whistle I mean..I know they like to eat little doggies and all, but gosh.

My wonderful mother gave us 2 beautiful black kittens. She thought she was giving us twin boys, but turned out that one was a girl. They are still so precious to us...

Oh...and their names are Midnight and Star. smile

I need to get to Petco and buy blue and pink collars.

Very pretty sleek kitties. They almost look siamese.

That's where I keep the litter box too! lol

The woodwork looks like our kitchen, I like the lighter wood makes the room brighter. Our litter box is also nearby since our aging cat is getting lazy.

Hey all!

Thanks for the great comments on the cats. Wow, they are so well behaved. I hope my girls take note on the good behavior of the cats, lol

We are really loving living in apts. There is sooo much to do, swimming and work out room, volley ball. I really need to get more pictures up soon.

Love you all and I will talk soon.

(Brian, I like the lighter wood as well in the kitchen and bath...nice change from what we had!)

We have matchy cats! yes I'm happy that you got a couple cats. That should help ease the pain of losing Cinny...even if only a little. heart

Lovely little kitties! heart

Where did your doggie go? If you had to take her to an animal shelter or something, this might help.

The cats are a lot of fun and are being held as we 'speak'.

Karen, the cats are 'matchy' I guess. More like twins really, lol.

David, Well, It's funny that you put that link concerning Craig's list. I put her on C.L. and (Cinnamon's) now new owner works for a local nursing home here. I thought that this would be an open adoption but I haven't heard from her except for one email the 2nd day she had her. I don't know, really. I was hoping to hear more. But not everyone is 'talky' like me I guess. It's very depressing but we just had to move and really didn't have any other choice. I can't let an animal keep us in the way of saving money and trying to survive in this economy. Right? We looked at houses that were in our price range (and would allow dogs) and guess what? The ONE that we found in our price range was right next door to 2 Pits (pit friendly neighborhood) BUT had the funkiest backyard and was a hop skip and a jump from a bus barn. (5 am wakeup calls during the school year would suck) I suppose we should have settled for less for the dog. I just get sick thinking about it and have even had dreams about her. I pray to God that she is ok and I am close to calling that girl who adopted her. I have her number...

Anyway...The cats are easing the pain a little but there is only one Cinnamon. She was wild crazy and ate little animals but I miss her so much.

Thanks Olga..smile The kids came up with the names.

Well if she's adopted out you know she'll be looked after. You should contact the person who adopted her out ... they might let you visit! smile

She's being quiet...ah well. I thought I was getting her a good owner who would be open.

Do people still keep cats for pets? Wow! Thats interesting! Rather saddening. You don't get tired of the noise?

Cleanclean Sunday, August 23, 2009 9:48:10 PM

confused

Cats are the second-most popular pet after dogs. Or did you mean something along the lines of, "Does the management let people keep pets such as cats despite the fact they wouldn't let you keep your dog?"

Right smile
