I think reading is more important than laundry...but maybe that's just me. *shrugs*

pssst I never read, so I wouldn't know from experience. p

I suppose that's true. I also read my Bible all the time...but that's where it stops. I never ever read any other books. smile

Sarah Dreamsangel292005 Thursday, September 3, 2009 6:57:33 PM

Yey for the bible, you go girl!!! I need to read it more. bomb

Mrs. HermitessHermitess Thursday, September 3, 2009 8:19:44 PM

Guilty Pleasures.... hmmm.... sounds so sinful. lol

1. SIMS2 (when I should be doing something else)
2. Reading fashion magazines
3. Cake
4. Purses (I have, like, a billion)
5. Silver Jewelry

KarenNerak Thursday, September 3, 2009 11:47:13 PM

Sarah, I got a new bible not too long ago. This one makes me want to read it! It's so pretty...and the inside has pictures here and there, and it also has little blurb things here and there. It's intended for teenaged girls, but it's perfect for me! I absolutely love it.

If you can afford it, I highly recommend going to the Bible bookstore and getting one that you really love. If the Bible is all stiff and ugly, you'll be less apt to read it. But if it's colorful and intriguing, you'll really want to read it! I read mine all the time...and remember how much I hate reading?!

I'll take pics so you can see it. You could get the same one - then we'd match! I would totally love that! lol

love

Mrs. HermitessHermitess Friday, September 4, 2009 1:53:23 AM

Oh Karen I got one of those for my niece! It was soo neat to look at. never considered getting me one though. I have 7 Bibles already. I like Bibles love

KarenNerak Friday, September 4, 2009 6:01:51 AM

I just posted a blog entry about my Bible - complete with pics & everything. bigsmile

Sarah Dreamsangel292005 Sunday, September 6, 2009 2:43:46 PM

cap...good thing that you don't feel guilty!! guilt is a horrible thing to live with. don't you think?

Tyler Parke YoungCaptivevet Sunday, September 6, 2009 3:39:26 PM

Catholics seem to handle it ok.lol

Sarah Dreamsangel292005 Sunday, September 6, 2009 3:43:11 PM

lol your right about that...but I'm not Catholic. Whew! I'm Christian...they are much worse at handling guilt...hence having church VERY often.

Tyler Parke YoungCaptivevet Sunday, September 6, 2009 3:48:38 PM

It's their whole "Original Sin" thing. They are guilty before they even get a chance to do anything to be guilty about!eek

Sarah Dreamsangel292005 Sunday, September 6, 2009 3:55:43 PM

Right...keeps them from committing sin, right?

starree Sunday, September 6, 2009 5:30:41 PM

I miss the kids playing Sims...I love the background sounds of the game. I am so weird like that. o

Tyler Parke YoungCaptivevet Monday, September 7, 2009 12:25:48 PM

I am still hooked on SimCity after all these years.coffee

Mrs. HermitessHermitess Monday, September 7, 2009 1:16:52 PM

The SIMS jibberish is pretty funny!

I think it's entertaining that they do have words for things and it's not all random. My favorite is "woofums" for the dogs. lol

Tyler Parke YoungCaptivevet Monday, September 7, 2009 1:18:50 PM

There IS some logic to that one.coffee

Sarah Dreamsangel292005 Monday, September 7, 2009 1:26:25 PM

lol The 'cuss' words crack me up...they are much better than the real life angry words...

Oh Lindsay, I think you will like this. bigsmile

Is it the rating? Sort of like parental block!

Sarah Dreamsangel292005 Wednesday, September 9, 2009 3:32:13 PM

We have always loved Sims in our house....I mean LOTS. Sadly they scratched up the CD and we told the girls that if they want another one then they would have to earn it. We have got them so many games and they didn't take care of them...so guess what? We don't spend the money on them anymore....

Lindsay...have you tried Sims Pets? My daughter, Angel, LOVES that game.

Mrs. HermitessHermitess Wednesday, September 9, 2009 9:47:39 PM

yes!!! I have it now smile

starree Wednesday, September 9, 2009 11:46:51 PM

I have the Sims3 and 2 now. I love them all! smile
