I am a part of a Yahoo Group called Freecycle. As a member of the group you can post what you want to give away, what you want/need, and claim things you may desire from other posters. It's local only and one of the best ideas I have seen in a while. There are freecycles for most cities, I am sure. Just search on Yahoo Groups for your local Freecycle.

Sally was put on Freecycle and claimed the next day. The dog went to a family that had 2 kids and another small dog at home. I am sure she will be happy, but they have my number just in case they want to return her. (let's hope it all works out) My poor youngest was really pissed that I gave her away. I promised her a cuter dog when we are back into a home. I love my daughter so much, but sometimes she is DETERMINED to have things her way. (9 years old)

I think she'll be fine, though. Mariah didn't even bring the dog up this morning, she was just worried about what she was going to wear to school and asking if she could walk home. So Yeah, I am sure my little one is over it.

I really thought NOTHING of it until on Sunday I started getting news of deaths.. First it was the little boy from church. He passed away after battling a year of brain cancer. Then I found out that Esther died and then yesterday my long time friend informed me that her uncle passed while on the way to the outhouse this weekend!! (yes he really did have an outhouse) I have known him for almost 20 years now and I am very sad about it. I will go to his funeral when they announce it.

So yeah...I was telling my husband that I really hope that is it for deaths...don't know how much more I can take, people. God bless all their families and let us all remember that no one lives forever. (technically)

Oh! Last note! I bought some yummy yarn yesterday...it's black Chenille and I love it. Anyway my point is as much as I love knitting....I think this guy likes it more. Just one question....why yellow?
