New Blogs....

, , ,

I have been really looking for new blogs to read here on My.Opera. I suppose what I am looking for has to catch my eye and be something that I am interested in. Some blogs are just so random and don't make sense to me. What are they about? The banner usually doesn't match the blog content. Some are so loud and busy that it makes my stomach turn. Yeah I am weird like that.

Guess what attracts me the most are theme blogs...you open it and know immediately what they are about! I wonder how many people I confuse with my own blog? Cupcakes? And it isn't about cupcakes?! hahaha!

BTW, I have subscribed to exactly 0 new blogs in the past month. :frown: I guess I am looking for something girlie and not too complicated!

Give a link if you find a blog that YOU find interesting!

Thanks

I've found some new blog friends lately

Let's see... lixxylu (Lu or Lucy)
http://my.opera.com/lixxylu

shallowmuse (Bianca)
http://my.opera.com/shallowmuse

They both are very artistic and are really funny. Smart arses. They had me hooked with that.

There are a couple of others but I'm just getting to know them. Although spaggyj (Kimmie) seems to be well liked and entertaining as well.

Karen 29. September 2009, 18:05

I never look for new blogs to read. I'm fairly content with the ones I currently read.

Happy hunting, though!

:sst: I totally hear ya' about the ones that make your stomach churn. Ugh...some people are clearly color blind!

Brian 29. September 2009, 18:38

your blog makes me hungry. I am kind of set on my blogs too. I have subscribed to the same ones for most of the year.

Rick 29. September 2009, 22:09

Hummmm, I thought we were the only ones here. Homer: Doh!

Karen 29. September 2009, 22:12

:left: It's kinda news to me, too, Rick. Apparently the world doesn't revolve around us OR our blogs!

Rick 29. September 2009, 22:22

Astonishing!

Karen 29. September 2009, 22:23

Absolutely!

Stardancer 30. September 2009, 03:42

I do that, too, very frequently. Look for new blogs to read, I mean.

It's a lot of fun, isn't it?

For obvious reasons I am not really good in girlish things, but perhaps these two blogs could be interesting inspite of not being at My Opera:

Hermitess: I read Kimmies blog too and that of her fiancee. They are living in Northern England. Mik is a specialist for quite all questions about cellphones.

I do not read outside of My.Opera. My.Opera has made me believe that I can't leave. Surely it is Battered My.Opera Syndrome. :frown:

Of course, kidding. I like the first link! Thanks so much! Seriously it fits my reading like a glove.

Pineas2 30. September 2009, 12:51

Mausergirl? Do you know where she gets her name from?

Sarah 30. September 2009, 13:54

No, fill me in.

Pineas2 30. September 2009, 13:57

Thank you, Lindsay! We're both really SO lucky! We've each had really bad experiences with friends in our lives, so to finally fine a 'soul friend' is truly a blessing. Sarah is like my Cupcakey angel! :o:

Sarah 1. October 2009, 16:31

Hahahah Lindsay, really it seems mushy? I am sort of mushy yeah so it fits perfectly. We are VERY lucky!

Sure! A room...with a view...in Italy...and endless money to go shopping all day!

Pineas2 1. October 2009, 20:44

I am not that picky. It could also be France or Belgium

Hermitess 1. October 2009, 20:51

 I was only teasing. You gals are always telling each other how wonderful the other is. It's sweet!

Sounds good as well...as long as there are beautiful men to admire.

I know, isn't it weird? I have always hoped for a friend like that. No one has ever returned the love like Karen can. Just don't piss her off..:left:

Sarah 4. October 2009, 13:39

Biscuit,(Karen)

The same way you love cupcakes, I love a good biscuit. Must be the southern girl in me...if you can make a good biscuit here, then you are queen.
