Frozen Solid

Oook! Who's ready for Thanksgiving? Thank God my husband is off today and actually enjoys cooking. I took the the turkey and ham out of the freezer and put into the frig on Monday. Today he is chopping vegetables and tomorrow I will be baking. He sort of deemed me the baker of the family...can't guess why! lol Anyway, we are excited about the celebrating and the kids being here....I have no clue really what the rest of the family is going to do..yet. But I am sure phone calls will be exchanged soon. smile

Have a great one, everybody! love

The benefit of just being the two of us is we are going out for lunch.

There is a place called Breakers right on the beach that is having a wonderful buffet.

Enjoy your feast.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

Happy Thanksgiving Sarah!

Have a good one! bigsmile

I got my turkey in the fridge on Monday as well to thaw. My family is coming up and bringing desserts and sides so it won't be a lot of cooking all on one person. It's going to be fun! and delicious! yum!

What are you baking?

Same to you, Kim (again) The turkey and the ham are STILL being consumed. (3 days later)

KimberlySqueakeyCat Sunday, November 29, 2009 7:46:38 PM

heck, they had the ham gone (more than 1/2 of it was left) that night. and most all of the turkey was gone the next day. we have 2 people here that seem to think that the food is ALL for them and only them, and don't leave anything for anyone else to have as seconds or leftovers.

thats one of the reasons me and Jaxs are trying to find a different place to get into. so we don't have to worry about where the next meal is coming from, even though i put more than $100 a month in food in the house.

Oh Kim food is so expensive that I am not surprised that you guys are struggling! We struggle sometimes to feed the girls what they want, mostly. lol We eat beans sometimes to fill in for low food days.

devansdevans186 Tuesday, December 1, 2009 4:21:46 PM

Missed the Ham, Turkey only.........leftovers are almost gone, munching on stuffing and beans waiting for the x-mas goose.

Sarah Dreamsangel292005 Wednesday, December 2, 2009 6:24:30 PM

Really a goose? How do they taste?

KimberlySqueakeyCat Thursday, December 3, 2009 3:09:45 AM

i know what you mean there, Sarah

devansdevans186 Thursday, December 3, 2009 4:50:12 PM

They taste like a goose.....somewhere between a turkey and a duck.

Sarah Dreamsangel292005 Thursday, December 3, 2009 7:12:44 PM

A fatty turkey? Gross! wink
