Requirements to live in the USA

1. Be a foreign exchange student. (trading one of ours for yours works fairly)
2. Have either one of.......
H1B VISA
H2B VISA
E3 VISA PROGRAM– similar to the H1B but is available to Australian Citizens only (huh?!
)
TN1 VISA PROGRAM – similar to the H1B but is available to Canadian & Mexican Citizens only
GREEN CARD – permanent residency visa – unlimited duration, can lead to US Citizenzenship
L1 VISA PROGRAM – for senior employees who work for Company outside the USA and want to transfer to same Companies offices in the USA
E2 INVESTORS / BUSINESS VISA PROGRAM – for people who want to buy/invest/start a business in the USA
J1 TRAINING / WORK VISA PROGRAM – short term training/learning visa to further your skills in the USA and then return to your home Country to apply them
(so far not difficult, huh?)
And after reading this......HOW TO BECOME A US CITIZEN......I realized, there are US citizens that should NOT be US citizens. Why isn't this country able to deport it's own a$$holes that live here? It's not the American Way? Or is it?
Don't forget...you can apply to go to a University (boosting our overall GPA, or ELSE,) and you also may join an armed service and die for the freedom of our country.
Go to THIS website for more information on jobs and sponsorship and have a great day!
(this was not a copy and paste email, by the way) I wrote this out of anger for the process of freedom in the world.

Exactly! It's just sick. I don't understand why people aren't taught how to live off of the land that they are living in. Unless it is desert, then I can understand.

I have lived in America for a while, and I'm in the process of moving to the USA once again this year. Brazil is not a bad country to live in, but the main issue is how much our money can buy.
The buying power of the dollars in America is way better than Real here in Brazil. For instance: with 1,000 dollars I can buy much more in American than with 1,000 reals here in Brazil.
So it seems to me that we can pursue a better life-style while living in developed countries. Let's take myself as an example: I am a graduated and qualified professional (and do carry some experience). I'm 28 years old, and I struggle very much to buy a refrigerator and an oven for my rented house. So, come on, these are the simplest appliances and I can't afford them. Microwave oven? 2011 maybe.
I guess I made my point here.
Btw, can't wait to go to American once again (this time to Miami) and I'm still struggling about my visa. As I'm going to work as a freelance designer, I basically have no documentation to apply for a J1 visa this time. A letter from an american company telling the american embassy that they want me working as a trainee would do. But so far, nothing.
Great post Sarah.

Jaisen, I remember the day when we also didn't have a choice, it was about 7 years ago, (I think) Now there are more companies than you can count which is wonderful and keeps cost down. By now, though, the original company (TXU) is working with people more and being more lenient. I pray that one day that will also be the case with your country.

A friend of mine that lives north of me in a small town in another state doesn't have a choice. Also, I have only one choice of water company...the city. That's it!
Your right about the kickbacks...
