I agree. Sometimes it's just really hard to break the habit of thinking of someone who spent a lot of time in our thoughts. Like any habit, it's much, much harder to break than it is to create. Even when we know it's not good for us.

I keep telling myself, "Patience is a virtue." Then I think, "Patience, my ass! I'm gonna kill something!"

True. Then I feel like a 13 year old that can't get over it. That really pisses me off.

We are learning about how to deal with issues like these in a class I am taking. I just STILL don't understand how to get it out of my brain and move on! I really understand the patience thing. Over time it gets a little easier. Some doors are just never closed, I guess.

I have forgotten what it feels like to be 13. Some of my greatest hurt in my life came around the age of 10 and younger.

Well, nonetheless I am still looking for my coping techniques.

Use a water pistol. Not lethal, but has the same "cleansing" effect.
