The State Flower
"The bluebonnet is the state flower of Texas. It is named named for its color and the resemblance of its petal to a sunbonnet. It is also known as wolf flower, buffalo clover and el conejo. Blooming in early spring, it is found in fields and along the roadsides throughout central and south Texas, as well as cultivated in landscapes. Shown in May. (San Antonio, Tx.) . It was adopted as the official state flower by the Texas Legislature in 1901. "

There is a tornado watch here so I am just waiting to see what happens. It is now west of us and we will see if it reaches us, maybe and then maybe not! WHO KNOWS! AGGGG! But we get them every time this season, warnings over and over again. The sirens are tested at the first of the month and we hear them so loudly, so I am not worried about it. If ever there were a tornado then we will get in the closet in the middle of the house and pray to God that we don't get sucked away. Having asian food tonight, even though my stomach hurts and I am not really sure why. I bought a sprite and hoped for the best. It did ease my stomach pain a little, but not much, it is almost like my nerves or something. Also, I had Gab today so I am sure that maybe a reason why...what do you think? Ummm, everyone is fine, doing good, happy, thank God. I had fun last night visiting. Hope you are also having a good evening....eat well and take care of yourself.
