My OperaStarting School

I am looking forward to waking up in the morning.
Want to know why?
The kids will be starting school promptly
at 7:30 AM. I have been waiting for this
day for 2 and ½ long, hot months. To the normal, average,
everyday person 2 and ½ months of the summer do not seem so bad.
But to me, a mother of 4 loud, active and sometimes obnoxious
girls it can seem a lifetime.
But the days of wait are now over.
It is time to give birth to the school days.
Do you remember the first day of school for
yourself or your kids? Share with me
memories of new items, the smell
of the new books and paper, crayons and
markers, new shoes,
(or less worn ones) and ironed clothes that sort of itched.
Or what about that favorite teacher you had,
or the meanest one! Please tell your stories, (or leave a link to your
own story in your blog. ) Back to school is a joyous time for me,
