Keeping Organized

One of my goals that I have for the new school year with the girls is to stay
completely organized with their bring home papers and artwork. For some reason or
another, last year, I let some papers go unsigned, threw precious artwork in the big bureau in the living room.
I have no clue what was going on with my mind, maybe I was still in a state of shock from having them all in school at one time. Who knows now looking back. But, this year is going to be different. I have folders ready beside my desk here, labled each one with their name. (Ohhh, so Martha of me) Now this is me after they come home from school, "Ohh, honey put it on the desk and I will get to it later."
That really makes me feel better than last year, "Throw it in the DRAWER!!!"
I am excited about being able to look back when they are older and cooing over the cute little projects and work that they have done. I can see it now.....)

They are teens, into boys, makeup and hair styles....I feel sentimental, and bust out the sweet little notes of "I love you very very much mom and dad!!" drawn in messy handwriting that would break even the hardest heart, and loads of things cut out and glued, halloween pumkins, witches on brooms, snow men made from contruction paper..ohh so cute!!! (but I don't think they, as teens, will agree.
Oh! They are going to love it!!! (yeah right)So to sum this up, I am overly proud that being 2 weeks into the school year, everything is running smoothly. They are picking out clothes the night before, some may remember we had issues with this last year, and they are getting up without complaining.
Big smiles from me, I drink my coffee and fix hair in the morning. I think they are spoiling me but we will see with the weeks to come.
