Consider a Sane Way
the only words I want to read
are feeding words, uh huh indeed!
a spirit needs peace to grow and learn
to go on in love without concern
happiness spilling into every pore
I swore that day, no war no more!
anger is gone flushed from my soul
no longer in that tragic theatrical role
of emotions dancing around like mad
the only one listening was my writing pad
away mischievous sprite, I welcomed serenity
with open arms I embrace my true identity!

The Angel
she was floating up to the sky
she was not sad, she never cried
just drifted about in the heavens above
spreading joy, peace and love
letting the wind carry her around
never did she make a sound
only smiled and laughed with each good deed
helping all that were in dire need
decorating the earth with harmony.........
