This tutorial is for who ever wants it, but I promised Cheryl that I would do it. So here it is.

1. Download Paint.net program from download.com. It is not a huge file, free and works wonderfully.
Download Location

2. Open Paint.net

3. Click
>file
>open
and chose the picture that you want to alter

4. Click
>layers
>import from file
and chose the same picture..again.

5. Click
>adjustments
>black and white
(this makes the top layer black and white)
*you may then also adjust brightness and contrast or any other adjustments that you may want to make on the 'black and white background'.


6. Now zoom in on the part that you want to make color

7. Chose the 'eraser' tool.
*You may chose the size of the eraser on the top bar next to 'brush width'

8. Erase the part of the photo that you want to see color on.
