Finally got a new camera...

Monday I bought a Fuji Film 'Fine Pix S700' digital camera. I really have no idea how to shop for a camera, so I just did a little research on what I wanted in a camera and went by that. The review for the camera is here.



So anyway...as any photo newbie would, I took a ton of pictures!
Here are a couple...yeah..not award winning in any way...but just examples.

Congrats!!! There is nothing more fun, to me, than being creative with a nice digital camera. bigsmile (well maybe there are other funner things...but I am just thrilled when I can snap some good shots!)

Fuji Film's Fine Pix collection of cameras can't go wrong...

I know I was torn between that and my Samsung last year when I was shopping for a new digi cam too!! (Uh, Samsung won in the end anyway p)

But you made a great choice there, iMom!! All of the tech savvy ppl I asked about which camera to get back when I was researching for mine, everyone said for me to get Fuji Film's. bigsmile

Cheryl, I know you are a huge picture taking enthusiast and I think you do a great job at it. up I think I have taken about 500 pics so far (forgot to mention I bought a 2 gig memory card for it) and am currently printing some out. They are gorgeous! I just love the quality! heart

Esther, that is good to hear that they recommended the Fuji. I didn't hear much about it until after I actually bought it! lol And I am pretty dern happy with it. yes Nice to see ya!

It's a good one... I didn't want to get one because I am a Samsung freak, that's all... But if Samsung didn't make cameras, I would have bought the pink (yeah... rolleyes) Fuji Film Z10...

Rhona, it is not as high end as I wanted it to be...but I know that I have to start off small and build up. I started off with a $20.00 el cheapo cam and graduated up. smile I loved each of mine as well, as long as it is taking pictures that's all that matters, right?

Zaki, it usually shows on the side of the lens, it says 10x up there. So 10x is your answer. bigsmile
