yes. you are a free spirit. so am i. but like it or not, the 'concrete' world demands we pay for what we want. there's just no dodging it.
i'll bet that most people... if they paid all their bills, would have no cash left for food.

being a 'flightingful' type myself, i keep trying to simplify.
but diversifying impulses bombard me.

try my motto... now universally recognized. they must have been thinking of me... "scot free", which to me now means, don't click on it. and never give your money source numbers to anyone. it's little enough to live on as it is, *stopping to laugh at myself, so don't enable those greedy consumer funded megalithic bloodsuckers get a hold on the bank account.

buy everything with cash... that's the real way to save money.
one credit card, for emergencies, and pay the rest off with $25.00 payments until they are 0. then, close the account.

THanks for your wonderful comment. Yes, we pay all in cash as well. I convinced my husband to pay an 'extra' bill, like the cell phone..by telling him "If we are going to be broke, we might as well be broke AND have good credit" Sounds good, right? Well, he took the bait...anyway.

I love paying cash, I have always despised checks and credit cards and actully can not keep a checking account with a above 0 balance.

(I didn't just write that) But that is the very reason we quit using checks.

I love the 25 till 0 thing. Great idea!

true,

and practical.

because if an emergency were to arise... we would have the means to weather it.

my credit's not great but i work at it constantly.

small payments which are regular... and suddenly, because of time, they are gone. just tighten my belt until the end of the tunnel appears.

i could say so much more about this aspect of life in our time.

just one thing. you can only borrow so much from the future and then the future collapses.
