I love you Daddy..........miss you so much.

, , ,

When I was a little girl living in Charlotte, North Carolina my father worked in a photography studio that took 'Old Fashioned' pictures of whoever was willing to dress up. When I was at my mother's on Halloween night, I caught this picture of me, but should have taken more. There was one with all four of us kids! Now, I should have snapped it to share but was in a hurry that night. Maybe later....

This is a picture that my father took of me. I am thinking about my father a lot today and I miss him terribly. He passed away in 1996, the same year I had the twins. I am happy to say that I did have a chance to tell him I was having twins and I heard that the day he found out he went out to eat with his sister and told her the good news. He was very proud. smile Little did he know that he was also having twins. My step mother was pregnant at the time but they didn't know it was twins yet. He never found out, (at leaste he was not here).

Daddy, I miss you today and I don't know why. I love you so much and hope that you are watching down on us. I know you have visited me in dreams but not for sometime now. My love for you will never, never, never end. love, Sarah

This was a different Blogthing....How ABNORMAL are you?Happy Friday

Sarah, that was sweet and a wee bit sad.

Thinking about my own dad who died in ´97. I have similar feelings.

Dear Sarah,
sorry to hear such a sad story about your dad. It's very hard for a child, when it lost the father or mother very early. I think on my owm childhood and it was terrible, because I lost my mother, when I was a baby and only one year old.

But I see, you have nice memories and photos and a lot of good thoughts. To think of your dad is the best, what you can do. I'm sure, he will feel you and your love. heart

Hi Sarah!
You reminded me my grandfather which died in 60 years of the last century. He died pinned by a drink-driver. And what's more near the house. He left....... and no longer went back........

Dear Sarah,
you are so beautiful in this old photo. Its good that you took it for youself to treasure.
I also lost my dad early. He even didn't live to our independence as a state.

Love,
Ramute.

Hi Sarah

It's always sad to lose someone you love so dearly. And sometimes it's the little things you miss, like their laugh or the way they hugged you. But people *do* live on in the hearts and minds of others long after they are physically gone.

Love,
JCL.

Hello Sarah,
Sorry to hear about your Dad.
Isn't that Ben Fold's Five song, Brick set in Charlotte?
You've got a really colourful blog design here. I like it! smile

I like the Christine Aguilera song that you chose to associate with this blog entry, Sarah.

Death brings finality. Memories remain. Good memories are a blessing.
I'm sure that your dad would still be proud of you if he were here to see what you are becoming. All the best to you and yours. God bless.
