Sarah's Blogish Thoughts

I am truly excited! It is dark and rainy outside, therefore lowering the temperature! It has been so hot lately that it feels as if the air is going constantly. As the air is running I feel the money slipping out of the window before it is even in our hands! It makes me cringe to think our electricity payment double ALMOST tripled last month. Everyone I called had the same report.

"Ours doubled"
"Ours went up"
"My husband has gone insane"



Ok.......So it is not enough that they raise gas prices....but now they stick it to us with electricity as well? I think that 'they' want us to sit at home and burn up. But see, I am rebel. I go outside and burn up.

There are few days left before school starts around the end of August.....I am so ready for the kids to get back into a routine. My teenager is staying up all night and sleeping during the day and I can't stop it!! I even went into her room last night and she was up chatting with friends. FRIENDS at 3 in the morning! That means that THEY are up as well....so that made me feel a little better. Not.

I stayed with her and actually fell asleep in bed beside her. We talked about silly things and laughed really hard making 'retarded' faces at each other. When I started to doze off I remember her calling me boring for falling asleep. Sorry girlie! I can't do the all night thing!

Just stopped blogging to take the trash bin to the curb....it's still raining in a slow fashion but I hope it keeps at this pace for a while to deeply soak everything. I am enjoying my coffee and thinking about working on a knitting project that just needs to be finished off.

I was a little disapointed, in this last pic there is no sign of rain....and it has actually stopped now.

To all the mothers like me.....
who love their kids...but love their free time
who yell at the top of their lungs to call kids in for dinner while the neighbors stare
who take their 13 to have her nails did, and not feel guilty about it
who help with homework....at 6 in the morning
who will actually listen AND ENJOY them same music her kids are listening to
who'll sneak in a shot of tequila in the morning coffee
who screams at her kids to don't forget to pray at night
(same with dinner)
who thinks that sitting together at dinner should be number 1 priority!
who doesn't mind mixing old tradition with new ways of thinking....
And to all the people that are 'momish'
I love you all and applaud you for your efforts to raise another human.
