In a few hours my girls will begin their last day of school before the summer! I know that they are excited about it and ready to begin the long lazy days of summer. Now I, for one, am really excited about beginning summer of 2008. The kids will have day camps, play dates, swimming, skating, bowling, mall, lazy days and sleeping late. It is such a nice change from the everyday grind of getting up early for school! Dealing with 50 gah-jillion different teachers through the school year is very difficult. Especially when you have girls like I do. Well, two of them at least are outspoken and natural born leaders. So of course the teachers have a love/hate relationship with the them.

Oh well! So yeah...this is a *awww* deep breath moment!
Mmmm #1 did good in school. She passed with FLYING colors as usual. Still happy, but devastated that she can't find the skirt she picked out to wear on the last day.
#2 seemed to be more interested in what boys thought than what we thought.

Off to grammies!
#3 was just glad to see "6" on her report card. As in SHE is going to the 6th grade!
#4 doesn't care either way and is just happy to be completely finished with 2nd grade, the
little toot!! Off to grammies as well!
Since 1 and 2 fight and 3 and 4 fight, I like to try to send 'em off for the summer. But 1 will also fight with 4. Come to think of it, 4 will fight with any of them, and 3 as well. Ummm. 1 tries to let them all roll off her back. But 2 bothers 1 more than the others. Mmm might be a little jealousy there. Yeah.

I worked really hard on my disabled brother's apartment (flat) today.

It is ready for him to come back home to. Sparkling clean and smelling fresh! PLUS he is getting a new bed, finally, so I know he will be ecstatic about that, especially because he loves to sleep.

For 2 weeks I have been going over there while he was in the hospital, feeding the cats and cleaning the cat box. Which got me to thinking, there has to be a better way to deal with cat crap.

I just HATE cleaning the litter box. The cats, Lady Boots and (forgot the name), are messy little poopers as well!
After I worked on the apartment for 6 hours, I came home and was inspired to change the living room around. I moved a few things and I love it for now! Who else gets the itch to move things?

Well, after sweating all day I was overly ready for a nice steamy hot shower and clean clothes. BEST part of the day, besides my yummy salad I had for dinner. The rest of the family had pork chops and salad. I tasted them, and I just wasn't up to it!
I was just 'watching' "My First Home" on
Discovery Home Channel. It makes me want to go house searching.

Love ya people!
