The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?
If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

I personally see her turning clockwise, except for when I FIRST looked at it...after I read that it could go either way, then I was stuck seeing it clockwise. rolleyes

Counter clockwise is slower...I see it both ways...but more clock wise.

At first I could only see her clockwwise, then when I was reading ur last sentence I saw it change direction out of the corner of my eye.

Now it's clockwise again!

by looking at her shadow you can make her turn both ways. Capey has this on her blog too it is too cool

Rhona, it was so strange, on the original site they had a thumbnail picture of one and a full size picture of the same image above. I was seeing one turn counter and one clockwise...it was really weird.

Pretty freaky - I kept looking and looking and looking and thinking that everyone that said they could only see it clockwise was either following your lead or that I was the oddball and losing my mind. Counterclockwise was the only way I could see her until I read ripp2002's tip about the shadow. Now I can make her go either way, but the way I saw her first was counter.

Once you notice the shadow it is easy to see her go both ways.

When you are blinking your eyes are most likely looking at the different portion therefore making it spin the opposite direction, it is all based on the shadow though.
