sarah's Arty Dreams

I drove today to visit my friend, Kristy, who has just moved into a new home. I feel completely dim because I left the housewarming gift here at home, and wasn't about to drive an hour back to retrieve it. Anyway...we went to have lunch at a local Asian food restaurant and had a great time visiting and catching up on actually being in person together. There is just something about being in person with someone...a feeling that the internet will never be capable of replicating. A feeling that no Yahoo Messenger, or MSN Messenger or ICQ or AOL or Skype can give you. I hugged her, held the baby, looked at her pretty blue eyes and happily read body language. Kristy and I talk on text practically everyday and make plans to go together to have pedicures or our eyebrows waxed; we never get around to doing anything! Our mouths run and clocks go unnoticed. Time does not exist while we are in the talking 'groove'.

I had to cut things short and come back to reality of home. It wasn't bad!
