Soooooooo, since February is the month of love then I decided that the best thing to do is make things that are red and white and yummy looking!! And having the word 'angel' in it doesn't hurt.

Ok! One thing......the recipe for the cake came from a box!
All we did was mix with water, hehehe. The 'icing' is whipped cream from the frozen section of the supermarket, and the strawberries, well we just sliced them and put them on the cake. Sooo easy!

Today I looked up the history of the phrase 'kettle of fish', and came across this paragraph, from this website, which suggests that kettles may not exist in America
Do you have kettles in America? It's probably a stupid question...

Well, I read the article and they are talking about
the phrase, "a kettle of fish" mostly.... but
they say this,
Yes, I know what a kettle is.
I remember growing up and grandma always having a kettle on the
stove for tea or whatever she needed hot water for. We even love
to have one now for making tea.....but they are a little difficult to
find in the stores, but not impossible.
As for the phrase, "a kettle of fish" I have never heard of it.
