I'm an A too. Judging by the questions, I would think that A's would get along slightly better than an A and a B except maybe if the competitive part was terribly strong. I would rather work with a lot of Type A personalities, but a couple of people with B types would balance things out nicely. In a relationship, I think B types would get irritated with me because I do everything fast and not always very accurately.

Lois at your last sentence. To be honest, my husband and I both are A. But we are A's that bend and bow with winds of change. If I need to be more 'B' at times I try to (somewhere deep down in my gut with a feeling of defeat) I bend a little. I know that he does the same. At times it feels like a business relationship, but this is not so bad when you are raising 4 kids together. To be honest, I would like to see a gentle side to him....*sigh* Oh well...this is my life...I have to pamper myself more and rely on my own feelings.

A guy I worked for one time told me to ease back because I made people nervous because I worked too fast and too intensly. So I did, then we had the big boys from Motorola come for an inspection and during a meeting one of the guys was staring at me, then said, with deep contemplation, "I'll bet you're not nearly so laid back as you appear".
