Spring

ooooooooopen me....
I just came in from Spring cleaning the back patio and deck area. I was out there for almost 2 hours picking up trash; little candy wrappers, dirty socks, tiny shining pieces of tinsel somehow lost from Christmas. One thing that I couldn't fix was the trampoline. Seems the kids, in someway or the other, broke one of the METAL legs on it and ....well the rest followed.
*deep breath*
All the springs sprung and it completely collapsed. I tried to reattach the springs. Aww well, it served it purpose after 4 years, I suppose.
After picking up all of the random junk, I grabbed the water hose and begun washing everything that could be washed with a high pressure flow of water. I washed the back of the house and found 3 wasps nest that I turned into mud. Next was the windows...I couldn't believe the amount of beetles in one of the windows!
Ewww, they washed out and down the side of the house, getting stuck into the brick. Of course I washed the brick as well to rid it of dead, dry beetles and their crap.Random Thoughts
I love hot green tea, plain.

Who thinks that tattoos are too mainstream now??

Back to blogging
So....I washed everything down and watered the yard that is beginning to turn green. Spring
just feels so good this year. I know that next week we should have rain, but I am enjoying the beautiful sunshine now.

Speaking of next week....it's Spring Break! I have a few things planned but we will take each day as it comes and of course, Opera, you will be the first to know.
I forgot to mention, I saw a little mouse in the kitchen the other day, he was gray with a pink tail and I really didn't want to kill it....but that little vermin got into our bread!!
So ...it had to go...dead or alive.
Not even an hour after setting out a trap with a tiny piece of cheese on it, the mouse went to mouse heaven.
Bye little mousy and shame on you for getting into the bread and the tortillas!
Well, I have to run to the ladies room and start a new load of laundry...AND grab some more green tea!

We have a beehive thingy on the very tippy-top of our roof. It's WAY up there and we don't have a ladder tall enough to climb up there. I guess we'll have to climb up on the roof and take care of it that way.
Have a wonderful day, Sarah!
