2 Flights Carried Man With Deadly TB
WASHINGTON, May 29 — Public health officials today urged the passengers and crew of two recent trans-Atlantic flights to get checked for tuberculosis, after learning that a man with an exceptionally deadly and drug-resistant form of the disease had flown on the planes.
Story here.
Well another determined idiot........
There was this sick guy
He flew to Paris!

An American in Paris...oui, oui HOW ROMANTIC.

But this guy is sick....with deadly TB.

So sick guy
decided that he had to get home no matter the cost. But the officials put him on a no fly list.

Sick dude got a bright idea!
"I will fly to Canada, instead! And then drive to Atlanta! (that'll fool 'em!)"

But the TB germs (most deadly by the way)
are spread all over the place....

And sick dude might be in trouble.....

He really should have read this book.

True Story! Do you guys think he should be prosecuted and punished?

What a weiner head.
If he makes it through..he should be prosecuted.
What was he thinking? He most definitely was NOT thinking of anyone but himself.

Although...I wonder what I would do in the same position in order to get home. When the SARS epidemic hit China ( I was working in Beijing) I often thought, that if I even got the slightest cold I wouldn't tell anyone about it. I was worried that if I got sick in China I would be quarantined in one of their awful hospitals, and maybe even get sicker. I would just book my flight out any way I could and wear a mask on the plane. I suppose that's selfish but at the time I felt really scared.
Anyway, I'm sure he could've got home some safe way. They could've quarantined him some way on the plane, forcing him to wear a mask etc.

He should have waited there.

Martin, have you been to a French hospital? I am sure they are good, but I think this dude had a different agenda.
Karsten,Aww yes, exactly.

him traveling. I mean, really, do you think he would care???
Issy, right
and do everything the right way-but obviously that was not good
enough for mr. sick guy. Mr. Sick guy wanted to throw a fit, I
mean he is American after all, how dare we try to keep him out?
(that is the attitude I am sure that he had) and being American
and looking 'normal' is exactly what got him back into the country.
As for exposing others, they can 'supposedly' only catch it if
he sneezed directly or coughed directly on them.
Lois, I agree...I think that he needs a good legal spanking. Tonight I saw Mr. Sick on the news, I am sorry-they said his name but I have forgotten. So, anyway he and his lawyer are complaining that he doesn't have T.V., phone, fresh air, etc. Now-he has a cell phone and television....but he says that he is being killed 'mentally'.
Mik-Yes, he knew. He was on a freakin' no fly list for
crying out loud. Ohhh he knew, and devised a plan to
get around the law that little sneaky...well...anyway
he did it, which worries me. It opens up all kinds of
secrets that the government doesn't want us to know about
border security and so on.

Could it be he wanted to die in Paris, but later changed his mind??
Now it seems like he's dying in jail...

Mik, eww! But I am quite sure you have to inhale what is going on in the air around you. The bacteria has to be forced out of the TB person by a cough or sneeze, or even playing an instrument!

If not story, its a lesson to all other people who used to fly.Because, most of diseases are contagious. So, beware of these things and try to prevent those type of persons.
Its not the matter the person is suffering from TB.Any people who used to smoke should be punished also.
