Paper Flowers

How to make paper flowers.... the first 2 videos are from the same artist. She has amazing skill cutting the paper into the flower shapes. She inspired me to go to Hobby Lobby and purchase many of the things that is required to create the flowers.

I was practicing last night and found that it looks easier than it actually is.

But fun, nonetheless. I wish that I had more time to 'talk'. I have to get ready to take my youngest to a dr appt this morning @ 8:00.

Mother's Day is coming up on Sunday...we are planning a dinner of steak and shrimp, inviting my mother over of course after I receive my gift...wonder what I will be getting? Whatever it is I will love and treasure it.

I remember making the tissue flowers when I was a little bitty thing. LOTS of fun with kids!

omg I just thought of something...I actually have chocolate flowers! Received them as a gift and thought they were too pretty to eat!

Well, I have to say..the kids did eat some of the flowers...and I couldn't understand why! LOL Just like most girls...we like pretty things.

WE already had Mother's day last Sunday. I dont't know why we celebrate it earlier than you. Our tradition is to present flowes to mothers. My children bought wonderful flowers and I presented flower composition to my mother. WE had a tea party, because it was day time. The weather was very good. I was very happy.
