well - that was predictable

I have spent most of the day configuring a computer upstairs because - as it turns out - having two web servers on the same computer does not end as well as you would like.
See - I use an apache/php server to write stories (lots of stories - and some quite good!), and that was running on the same pc I was using to do C# web development. So when installed IIS on that, it kind of all went to hell very, very quickly.
So now I have a computer configured upstairs to run as the story server, print server, torrent server and (quite honestly) whatever else I want it to be server, and I can reinstall IIS downstairs and hopefully get a damn web program to run!!!
(My other problem seems to be that building and deploying a web application is not as easy as it seems - so far not a single one has run properly outside of the development environment. And this is not a good thing!!)
But for now - for now I am going to quit doing everything, and go back to watching Billie kick some demon ass.
