Opera mini is a web browser which can be run on multiple platforms/ mobile OSs,& every feature of operamini is not available to every mobile OS or platform it can be run on.
I had mentioned the features of opera mini which I had experienced & used a lot on various platforms/ Mobile OSs & those are as follows:-

• Smart Home screen with Facebook & twitter integration, and it brings most of the things we do on browser on one page, however it is not customizable.
• Unlimited speed dials purely customizable.
• Easily switchable tabs.
• Faster loading of web pages which are compressed & well reformatted by opera’s compression server which uses opera compression technology, as per our device screen.
• Good animation/ transition effects.
• A decent desktop browser like experience on mobile devices.
• Smart built in keyboard with good transition effects for touch screen devices.
• A good RSS/ ATOM feed reader, which is easily customizable and manageable, but needs more refinement which will be explained in further part of this article.
• Easy tap and hold system which replaces the right click on mouse button while on touch screen devices.
• Easy cut/copy/paste & selecting text using the tap & hold function.
• Saves a lot of data traffic on web which results in less data bills.
• Whole Web-Page(s) can be saved and viewed in off-line mode too.
• Last but not the least, & most important and liked feature is that this amazing application is FREE !!! for all devices whether it is a feature phone or a high end tablet.

With all the above goodness there are few things which I don't like in opera mini and that are as follows:

• Its Download Manager, whose pause and resume function fails most of the time & it doesn't perform well while downloading large size file(s), or while doing multiple downloads at a time, the best download manager I found is in the UC browser though it has its own other drawbacks, but its download manager is superb!.
• Keyboard keys, specifically the numerical keypad on opera's virtual keyboard for touch screen devices is not well formatted for easy typing and should be improved, how? That I will let you know in the further part of this article.
• Opera’s virtual keyboard lacks navigation buttons (←↑→↓), which makes it harder for the user to navigate accurately through a blog post, email while typing by his/ her finger(s) it on that keyboard.
• Poor customization of smart home page components, which is fully customizable in case of speed dials.
• RSS/ ATOM Feed view can be much better, how? That I will let you know in the further parts of this article.
