Ponte Milvio's lovers padlocks

曾在19世纪末处于瘫痪状态的意大利罗马台伯河上的Ponte Milvio(wiki)石桥，经valadier和pigiani.两位艺术家改建装修后，于2006年年底完成。

可是它吸引了大量来自意大利本土和海外的情侣们，为证明他们坚贞不移的爱情，在桥栏上系上代表心心相印的纪念挂锁，并且将两人姓名写在密封的笔管当中与钥匙，一起抛入台伯河。

可是当地文物保管部门屡次声明这座建于西元一百零九年的古老石桥，已不堪重负，为了保护文物和安全问题不得不经常出动消防员剪掉大量在桥栏，灯柱上面的锁，免得灯柱倒塌。

当地的社会学家也无法解释这种新形成的现象，警方则为了避免台伯河遭到污染而对丢笔管的情侣开出五十欧元的罚单，但仍无法禁止这种风气。不过它倒是让附近卖锁店家大发利市。
