Learning to blog - open journaling?

IUN

I have not posted here in a long time. Working at the University keeps me really busy, doing all sorts of things. I have been creating podcast, interested in creating webcast for my senior nursing course. I am also looking forward to making an adobe portfolio for the course - which is being developed with modules. I envision each module being an separate case study in the Virtual World Second Life. Lots of work. But I keep chipping away at it and it is making a lot of sense.

Hi,

I have tried a new software for sharing files and desktop between close friends directly and privately without going through the web or any 3rd party. It can even help me to manage files among my computers, like do simple backups. I find it to be very useful and would like to invite you to try it out so that we can share things together.

Here is the link to the software that you can learn more information about it:

You would need a Gmail account to use the software. After installing the software, you can login with your Gmail username/password in the Gbridge software and see the invitation from me.

Also you can easy use it for your own private network. Security is high if I want to connect to your pc you must first invite me there!!!
You will like it.

Enjoy!

The infrequent blogger

, , , ...

Well, I am back today. I would hope that I would blog more regularly. I seem to be going around the world in 80 days and not getting anywhere, or doing anything productive. I had such high hopes when I started this adventure. I thought I would come and blog daily, maybe even several times per day. About all sorts of things, since I have so many interests guilting, music, politics, art, architecture, swimming, stained glass, decoupage, books, writing a book, journals, bookbinding, writing a journal, etc.

I even have a friend who has inspired me regarding acting - drama -- You know who you are. I think I might even like to try acting!!!!!!! in a live stage play. WOW!!!!!!!!!!

The possiblities are endless.

Well what is the problem. My creativity seems to just not be flowing in the manner I would like. I am wayyyyyy too analytical, methodical and organized for the creative juices to flow.

I will certainly keep trying to get to the creative juices.

PASSION?????????????? energy?? motivation??

Politics

, , , ...

With an election coming, I think the entire voting public show vote for and independent. Have we not gotten to a place in history which requires more humanistic, compassionate, concious behavior from our leaders and citizens?

TAKE DEMOCRACY BACK FROM THE GREEDY, ARROGANT, HATEFUL, SELFISH POLITICIANS.

American healthcare, educational, social and politcal systems are shot. Yes, we are enjoying a lot of technology, higher pay, more food. We are not enjoying greater quality of life, love and happiness overall. Just imagine if Democracy was really active in America today.

Oh yes capitalism could stilll exist- sure make a profit but be fair, be productive.

CNBC Million Dollar Portfolio Challenge

CNBC has not annouced a winner for the game. Sorting thru all that cheating and hacking is really difficult i suppose.

Challenge

Did not win the CNBC Million dollar portfolio challange, and read on the net that there was cheating -- suspected that some were able to back date that trading positions allowing them to show greater profits than they actually had.

I did well in spite of all this -- My rankings were: 18017 Top 2% earning a 39.81% return on the million dollars with final account balance of $1398136.40. and I did not cheat it was hard work.

How much is your blog worth?
