In january 1 the fedral government decided to remove fuel subsidy. The removal of fuel subsidy quickly sparked commotions everywhere in the nation there were riots in some parts of the country which triggered a joint general strike action by the trade union and labour union which resulted in the absolute standstill of the nation's economy. After a lot of negotiations between the federal government and labour the came to a tempoary agreement which led to the suspension of the strike and we're still awaiting further news.
