* windowless overlay mode now working (Firefox 3 required)

All details about Flash Player 10 can be found at the release notes. And of course the beta 2 is available for Linux too.

I just tried the new beta. The transparency works as worked in previous version, but there are still some drawing bugs.
There are two separate layered flash objects. The animation and the logo.
Could it relate with graphic card also? I am using a bit older nvidia GF6600 with non-free driver. Could someone test it with free driver?

I hope that the layer-bug is solved. Everytime a HTML-layer is created with JavaScript over Flash animation it is under this flash animation. A good reproducable example can be found at dell.de.

indeed a lot of layer bugs are solved like:
- flickering flash on layers with z-index and margin auto
- transparency works
- HTML overlapping off Flash content works
