/home/#YourProfileName/.gimp-2.6/plug-ins
Make sure the file is marked as executable. You will find it at "<Image Window> > Colors > Color Scheme Designer...". Any feedback is welcome

I was just looking for something like this the other day and I decided to hack something together but it looks like you beat me to it. Well done and thank you!

Yes you are right it does nothing more, that's why i call it just a helper. But in Agave you can add the colors you like to Favorites and export it as a Gimp color pallete file. After that you has the colors available in Gimp
