* Mike Gemünde is currently cleaning and refactoring quite a lot of IconView code
* Geotagging is coming (Mike Gemünde is working on it too)
* Paul Wellner Bou is working on a nice extension to compare different image versions
* Lorenzo Milesi is working on export support to tabblo and taking care of bugzilla
* Ruben Vermeersch himself working on prototyping some stuff related to progressive image loading and preloading. He is also looking into RAW processing

I get rid of F-Spot while ago. It's so slow. Now I'm useing Geeqie. Maybe it doesn't look as nice as F-Spot, but it's realy fast and has plenty of useful options. For importing photos from camera I use Rapid Photo Downloader, which is excellent application.

Thanks for the update. I like f-stop primarily because it's passed the wife test... it's an easy and functional way for my wife to look at pictures of the baby, without having to dig through my directory structure or deal with Lightroom. That's a win in my book.

I hope one day we will see a watermark image option on export and an upload to a Drupal image gallery feature.
