IE Death March

, , , , , , , ,

"Internet Explorer 6 will be SEVEN years old on August 27th. It came out a few weeks before the Twin Towers fell. It came out before the Nintendo GameCube. It came out before the first iPod." Dave Auayan is right with his initiative "IE Death March". Enough is enough! Please stop using Internet Explorer 6! May update to Internet Explorer 7 or use alternatives like Firefox or Opera.

Definatly, it's the worst browser ever released by Microsoft and it causes web developers serious headac:(hes

Its a pain writing IE6 compatible sites for people who just refuse to move on.

I think the real pain is that M$ did a long time nothing and startet very late correct some issues. Tje IE 7 and 8 aren't positive successors too. I think the long development break after IE6 and the bad successor IE7 is very simlir to WinXP and Vista.

IE7 is way better compared to IE6, at least it's not as buggy in calculating distances as IE6.
