End of last year i reported about a new version of the font editor
FontForge that shipped with a X Resource editor to customize the (ugly) interface of FontForge. Now i started to create a smoother interface for Fontforge. Here is my first attempt:

If you know the ugly and fat look&feel of the standard interface you know that this first try is really smooth

You can
download the theme here. To use it with FontForge go into the preferences and select the "fontforge-theme-area42" file as a "ResourceFile" at the option set "Generic".

Scribus SVN builds available from this weekend for
Fedora 9. Hopefully someone updates the
builds for Debian/ Ubuntu too

Thomas Zastrow wrotes a little preview about what we can expect from
Scribus 1.3.5.
My favorite wishes about Scribus 1.3.5 are CMYK-Tiff images with alpha work in PDF documents and the text frames renembers their font properties and display them correct in the property panel.
