Gogh 0.12.3

After a longer break a maintance release of Gogh 0.12.3 is available. Besides that the Gogh Project has moved to Google Code.
Gogh is a an bitmap graphics editor for artists. It is designed to work with pressure-sensitive input devices, like a Wacom tablet. An alternative to Gogh is MyPaint.

Bugfix Release: MyPaint 0.7.1

1 1/2 monther after the art/ sketch/ illustration app MyPaint 0.7 hit the streets, the team published a bugfix release now.
MyPaint is a quite fast and easy to use (you have to learn the key shortcuts) and offers a lot of brush controls. As an example David Revoy who is the concept artist for “Project Durian” (a Blender Open Movie) uses MyPaint to create stunning and beautiful images.

Charlie pointed me to the art/ sketch/ illustration program MyPaint (Thanks!), which looks indeed promising. It is quite fast and easy to use (you have to learn the key shortcuts) and offers a lot of brush controls. Version 0.6 shipped now with layers and popup color selector.

Gogh, the artist painting tool for pressure-sensitive input devices, was released as 0.1.2.1. a while ago and is now available as a deb archive for Ubuntu.
