I've tried RedHat few years ago but i didn't have time to study it. And i didn't like it really! Now I have this ORIGINAL Ubuntu 5.10. I'm still a "Winy" because of the Adobe mostly, but heading to the "OPEN side"

You mean 7.10 Gutsy instead of 5.10 right?
With Wine you can run Photoshop on Linux (like i did too):
http://my.opera.com/area42/blog/a-new-bottle-of-wine-0-9-54

And try out the screencasts of Ubuntu:

This makes learning ubuntu much easier.

No :eyes: it says "Version 5.10 for your PC"!?! Photoshop on Linux? What about GoLive, InDesign and After Effects????

If you trying 5.10 you should download and burn an 7.10 cd image:
http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download

About Win apps using Wine you should check out teh App DB database:
http://appdb.winehq.org/appbrowse.php

Its always a question of version, so at the moment it is inpossible running Photoshop CS3. And you have always to use the newest version of Wine from their Reps:

How would you compare use of Raw Studio to the likes of RawTherapee which I have been using for a bit now - worth a look would you say?

Gutsy user.

Wow,

i didn't know RawTherapee yet. I know Qtpfsgui, UFRaw, RawStudio and Lightzone but RawTherapee looks great too.
