Of course you can read through "Blender 3D: Noob to Pro", try out a lot of tutorials and watch detailed video tutorials for getting a pro in Blender - but you can study the step by step issues of "Bits of Blender" too :smile:

I'm glad you are finding "Bits of Blender" useful! Ironically, I was just trying to install Ubuntu on Virtual PC 2007 over the weekend. No luck after several tries. I found some sites with varying (but similar) info, but the techniques did not work.

I'm using Blender sincs 2.32 but i haven't explored any feature yet, it often depends on my tasks or artciles ( http://my.opera.com/area42/blog/blender-workshop ). Bits of Blender makes it very easy stepping in a new feature area :smile:
