Using random signatures in email

Recently, I sent an email to someone for getting news and I have been answered she is in dire straits...

My mail user agent inserts random signatures using an external program (fortune1) and for that email it was this one:

"You need no longer worry about the future. This time tomorrow you'll be dead."

It made me laugh, I hope it wasn't too offensive though.

Do you use random signatures ?

Do you limit them to "non-offensive" entries ? fortune has that feature but it's a subjective point anyway.

What do you think of using random signatures for professional correspondence ? Let's say internal usage only.

I wouldn't dare to send anything like that to my contacts !!! It won't make me laugh at all if you send me an email with this signature !!! P:

I usually check what my random signature is and change it if necessary.
For that email, I only saw it some days later and I was feeling so awkward that I laughed nervously.
This one may really be scaring for the recipient ...
