New goals for the next 5 years.

I completely forgot I had this thing! I was going to start posting a ton of neat stuff from my life, but then I got preoccupied with other things. That's the problem with having a wickedly short attention span! Like this one time when I was studying for my exams the other night and I found the most shocking thing on the internet...
Just kidding. You're not going to find out what I've been looking at on the internet. :-)
My new goals for the next 5 years are as follows:
- Retire
- Move out and become homeless.
I know that this may shock and confuse some of you; you may even begin to think I'm weird. Deal. Really though, after I'm done at CST I'll be looking for a few contract jobs. Save up and invest. I'm bummed at not taking advantage of the real estate here in Edmonton. It went up 40% from 2003, and its forecasted to go up another 20%. One guy at RFD bought 4 condos and made a nice $500k from it. I'm trying to convince my uncle to sell his place, even after paying off all of his debts, he'll still have $82k in profit. He's not biting though.
One of my plans is to buy a mansion. Call it Project Edmonton, and move the coolest people I know into it. Who wouldn't want to live in a mansion? :-) Someone once said that it would just turn into a big frat. And they are probably right, but wouldn't it make an awesome story to tell?
Unfortunately, this plan clashes with my other plan. That is to give up as many worldly possessions as possible, and become a perpetual traveller. The basic idea is to bounce from country to country staying only long enough to be considered a tourist while working. The lifestyle is completely radical; very different from the vast majority of people's lives. This has the chance of making an even greater story to tell though. There are tons of cool people all over the world that I know that I haven't gotten a chance to meet in real life.
After plan #2 came to mind, I realized that I spend waaaay too much money. From the Pocket PC, the Handheld PC, the Mac, 3 PCs, my aquariums, the clothes, the food, and all of the other junk I buy, it seems that I have too much crap. I bought a children's bucket hat cause it was on sale, damnit! So my other goal is to sell all of the stuff I haven't used recently, and from now on, only buy quality stuff. No more 2 year old laptops from eBay for $250.
Wish me luck guys. :-)
Love,
The Super Awesome Art.
