Mel knows well what I am going through. She is going through it herself.
But of course we cannot expect everyone to understand this. The pain, the anger, the relief, the dissapointment, the depression and the hope. Unless you have been through the same things you cannot pretend to know what it feels like. You can try and try to feel our feelings. But you cannot. For they are just that: our feelings. The pain is our own.
But there is hope.
For although you cannot feel our pain, you can help us overcome it all. You may feel pain, but it is not our pain. You are hurting for us, not instead of us. But your pain is easing ours. And in hurting with us, you are bearing the burden with us.
Thank you for hurting. Thank you praying. And thank you for crying.
Me and Mel

As I promised, I am going to talk about my room; It's pretty big with two floor. The girls and I sleep there and we have lots of fun. Anyway I should start from the beginning... The room has a very high ceiling so we built in a sort of loft even though it has a loft already. Hannah and I sleep there, and we have our desks up there... It doesn't have any ladder to go up, so only me and Hannah can go up in the family. We call it our upstairs room (we say you want to go upstairs? meaning the room)! We made a rope-ladder for it. Hannah got a video-camera for her Birthday so she put's it down below so we can tell who is in the room... And I got inside phones so we can phone each other without paying and we can take them everywhere... I have got my own litle place; the loft; And nobody is allowed up there exept me... I likex going there on my own and reading my favorite books. I like it because I can be alone and think about things in peace...
That's all for now; see you next time...
Your's respectfully, Melonie Penner

Hi!
My name is Melonie but my friends call me Mel. I'm foorteen years old. I have one brother who's ten and two sisters. Hannah is fifteen and Christina is almost six. Daniel, my brother has his own room. My sisters and I share a room. It is a litle big compared to my brother's. Us girls call Daniel's room "The KEGO" because he likes K-nex and Lego. We always know what to give him for his Birthday! (Legos or K-nex)... Tomorrow we will have finished my room so I'll tell you about it then. It's nice to get to know you, Melonie Penner
P.S. See ya tomorrow!
